IMPROVING HOME & COMMUNITY BASED SYSTEMS
HCBS Strategies is a small consulting firm that is the thought leader on building and improving home and community-based supports.
- Our mission is to help build systems that maximize individual control and community integration for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Our clients include Medicaid agencies, State Units on Aging, Area Agencies on Aging, and other governmental and private sector agencies that support people with disabilities.
- We have experience with all populations with disabilities including older adults, younger adults with physical disabilities, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children with disabilities, and individuals with mental health challenges.
HCBS Strategies is collaborating with interRAI to help states use better data, better – by implementing interRAI assessment systems and leveraging their data to improve program operations, inform person-centered planning, and support evidence-based policy.
